Tyler Mcleod is a cinematographer. And a darn good one! That's what justin eeles and pierre minhondo think anyway. Tyler was awarded 1st prize in the TWS GTS Video Contest. Here is his entry. He is also putting a little video together with some homies called "Noise, noise, noise", and I like the looks of it.

Go Skate Day hosted by Snowboard Connection. Thursday, June 21st.
5pm. Premier of Element's "This Is My Element" at the Capitol Hill Arts Center (CHAC).
After that. Shred down to Snocon via skates.
7 - 9pm. BBQ and skate jam at Snocon. Free stuff.
10pm. Big kid party at CHAC. Booze and tunes.

Mt Baker Arm

The Arm is a magnificent place in the Mt Baker Backcountry where everyone goes to hike the moment it gets sunny after a fresh powder day at Mt Baker. Sometimes you get lucky and get some first tracks. On this day me and Nick Ennen happened to meet up with Byron from Arbor and Justin Kious at the top of the hike. As I dropped in, little did I know that Justin would be pulling out his camera for a great snapshot...

Alterna Films drops their teaser for "Apples and Oranges". It is very pretty.

Spirit Skate Shop in Spokane, WA also has a video titled "Apples and Oranges". Except because their fruits are from eastern washington, they are not so pretty. Instead these fruits can skate better than you and will probably steal your wallet.

New teaser for "Still Bastards".

Mellow Mood Productions out of Switzerland has announced the name of their new shred flick..."Green". They have some podcasts on their site.

also, twsbiz.com reports that Bob Burnquist and the super awesome "Action Sports Environmental Coalition" (ASEC) somehow got into the capitol. Maria Cantwell proceeded to punish them in a game of SKATE.

Organik is an art/clothing/photography/film/design collective from Michigan. Seems that everything in snowboarding is from the midwest these days. Most of the organik homies are just graduating from high school, but are more crafty than mcgyver. All kinds of influences: shred, skate, hiphop, bling, but no granola. summer rain = computer fun

This weekends Mt. Hood mission has been postponed, due to "substantial showers". Oh well, plenty of shredding to do on the internets.
Summer snowslipping is great. Get off work, school and crack and get down (or up) to Hood (or Whistler). Here is some slope happenings for the summer.

1. Signal Snowboards will be demoing some new shred sticks at Mt. Hood Wednesday June 13 through whenever they feel like going home. Next years line is looking really good. They got some help with graphics from MONSTERPILOT. Check out their site for some sneak peeks.
2. Bonfire will be hosting a Pipe2Pipe at hood June 29th and July 20th. The event consists of a railjam on the snow, and skate jam....not on the snow. The event is open to pros, ams and lumberjacks, and if Josh Sherman likes you, he will bestow you with money, a sponsorship or a flannel shirt.
3. Burton's Abominable Snowjam is July 10-12 at the Hood, and it's a big deal.
4. Eesa is going to ghostride their RV up to Hood sometime this summer, not sure when, I don't think they are either.
5. All summer: schmooze with pros, work on goggle tans, shred with your shirt off to impress the ladies, resent the campers whose parents actually did send their kid to camp after promising to do it (thanks mom).

That's all I can remember, I really don't know what is happening in Whistler (help?). I will try to embellish this list at a later date.

Remember: snowboarding is funner than not snowboarding.

Team Thunder

Hey blog, this is Andrew. Much thanks to funner for putting this all together. I am from Seattle, and I like snowboarding and oatmeal. There is a pretty big list of teasers down there for you to avoid doing more productive things. Here is some more from Salt Lake City's Team Thunder. They survived having their videos on Transworld, which is a huge accomplishment. Enjoy the teaser for "Remember When".
