Grand Targhee Snowboard Resort Review

Grand Targhee is a ski resort located in Alta, Wyoming just across from the Idaho Border where the nearest town is Driggs. Targhee is a hidden secret on the western side of Teton Pass where the fancier and well-known Jackson Hole is on the east side. Grand Targhee receives an average of 500+ inches of snowfall per year. On this trip there was Jeremy Dubs filming for Funner Films, Connie Mellafe taking photos, Nick Ennen, Luke Strong and Manuel Diaz were filming with Funner for our upcoming movie.

1. The Funner Films crew out filming on their RV tour.

2. Getting tickets early for a great day at Targhee.

4. We love the view of the valley from Targhee, absolutely incredible.

6. Luke Strong gives the thumbs up on his first visit to Targhee.

7. The Ennen brothers re-unite alter 6 months for some pow turns. Nick Ennen(Left) is a pro wakeboarder and pro snowboarder, Nate(right) is a pro patroller & head of avalanche control at Grand Targhee.

8. Jeremy Dubs, director of Funner Films is stoked at the variety of tree runs, pow fields, and cliff drops to capture for his next movie. Check the www.funner.us website for more details.

9. Manuel Diaz is a visiting pro from the country of Chile, located in the Andes mountains, where the snow season is opposite to the USA. (June-October snowfall)

10. Pro patroller Joe shows us some lines and keeps us informed about the backcountry conditions.

11. Manuel Diaz and Jeremy Dubs check out the terrain.

12. Cool view of the valley.

13. The guys arrive to some cliff drops.

14. Nick Ennen slashes the rocks.

15. Luke Strong busts an air over the rocks.

16. Nick came back for more and busted out a frontside 360.

17. Kate Ennen skis through the soft, fluffy pow.

18. Photographer Connie Mellafe, also visiting from Chile. She likes dry powder snowfall, and was happy to shred some fresh.

19. Manuel Diaz gets the freshest tracks of the day out on the Steve Bough run. He dropped from the cornice at full speed and charged off this drop.

20. Absolutely sick!

21. Luke Strong slashing the shadows.

22. Nick Ennen dropped the cliffs all day long. He just couldn´t get enough of the dry, deep snowpack.

23. Manuel Diaz saw the spot to do a nice sunlit bs 180 tailgrab, and launched off with style.

24. Nate Ennen shows us why he loves to ride here, with this nice ski air over the cliffs.

25. Jeremy Dubs and Manuel Diaz finishing up the day with one last hike.
